Most creators earning serious money are still paid through a US LLC that belongs to a manager or an agency. You do not control the company, the bank account, or when the money moves. We fix that — and put your tax position in order in the country where you actually live.
If your platform payouts land in a company you do not own, four things are true whether anyone told you or not. You cannot see the gross figure the platform actually paid. You cannot change managers without losing the payment rail. If there is a dispute, your income and your account are frozen together. And the person who controls the entity controls your leverage in every negotiation.
This is fixable in weeks, not years, and it has nothing to do with offshore anything. You form your own company, open your own account, contract directly with the platform, and the payouts arrive where you can see them the day they land.

Almost every creator considering relocation looks at Dubai first. Here is the comparison as it actually stands, including the part most promoters leave out.
| Panama (1966 Treaty, Italians) | United Arab Emirates | |
|---|---|---|
| Type of permit | Permanent immediately | Renewable, 2 to 10 years |
| Minimum stay to keep it | None | One entry every 6 months (Golden Visa excepted) |
| Property or locked deposit | No. $5,000 unencumbered solvency deposit | Property or deposit depending on route |
| Cost structure | One-off, no maintenance fees | Setup plus periodic renewals |
| Citizenship | Eligible after 5 years | Effectively unavailable |
| Bank data exchange | CRS | CRS |
Five of those six favour Panama. The sixth is the one you need to understand properly, and it is the next section.
A Panamanian residency permit is an immigration document. It does not make you a Panamanian tax resident. Panama's territorial tax system means Panama does not tax foreign-source income — but that only helps you if you have actually stopped being tax resident where you live now, which in most countries means spending fewer than 183 days there and moving your centre of interests. Panama has exchanged bank account data automatically under the CRS since 2018: an account held by an Italian, German or French tax resident is reported to that country every year.
So there are two honest propositions, and they are different.
If you are genuinely willing to move, Panama is the strongest option available to you: permanent residency with no minimum stay, no property requirement, a light solvency deposit, and no tax on foreign-source income once your tax residence is actually there. That is a real, legal outcome and it is worth structuring properly.
If you are not moving — and most creators are not — then the value is different but still large: your own company instead of your manager's, direct contracting with the platform, a correct and defensible tax position in your own country, and a structure that keeps your legal name out of public registers. Anyone selling you tax-free income while you keep living in Milan or Lyon is selling you a criminal exposure with a brochure attached.

Which one applies to you depends only on your passport.
| Route | Who | What it requires |
|---|---|---|
| Treaty of Friendship, Law 15 of 1966 | Italian citizens | Solvency deposit of $5,000 unencumbered, clean record, apostilled documents. Permanent residency granted in days, no property, no minimum stay. |
| Friendly Nations Visa (Decree 226/2021) | Citizens of 50+ listed countries: USA, Canada, UK, EU states, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Israel, Singapore and others | An economic tie to Panama: employment with a Panamanian company, real estate, or a fixed bank deposit. Two years provisional, then permanent. |
| Other nationalities | Everyone else, including applicants from Asia and the CIS | Assessed case by case. Eligibility and banking access are checked before you spend anything. |
We verify your eligibility against the current text of Executive Decree 226 of 2021 before quoting, and separately we check which Panamanian banks will actually open an account for you. For Russian nationals in particular, bank de-risking is a bigger practical obstacle than the visa list. We tell you the answer before you pay anything.

Four things, priced separately, because they solve different problems.
Modules on how creator income is taxed where you live, how to contract directly with the platform, VAT and reverse charge on platform payouts, what is deductible, and how to keep your legal name out of public registers. One live question session per month. Start here if you are not ready to restructure.
Your own company, your own bank account, exit from the agency or manager entity, and renegotiation of your platform payout details. Panama residency included as an option if you want it. One-off.
Bookkeeping, the annual return in the country where you live, foreign account reporting, company maintenance, and a quarterly review call. Billed monthly, priced in bands: $250 below $100k of annual revenue, $450 up to $500k, $700 above. You pay every year because the obligations recur every year.
For the minority who genuinely move. Timing, exit consequences in the country you are leaving, Panamanian tax residence, banking, and the sequence that avoids being taxed twice in the transition year. Base cost from $6,800; the full quotation is prepared privately once we have seen your situation.
Tell us what you earn, where you live and who currently holds your payout account. We will tell you what is achievable and what is not, before you pay anything.

No, not by itself. The permit is an immigration document, not a change of tax residence. To stop owing tax in your current country you have to actually cease being tax resident there, which normally means being present fewer than 183 days and moving your centre of interests. If you keep living where you live, you keep owing tax where you live.
Yes. Panama has participated in the OECD Common Reporting Standard since 2018 and exchanges account data annually. This is also true of the United Arab Emirates and of more than a hundred other jurisdictions. Any adviser telling you otherwise is either uninformed or lying to you.
No, for the residency permit. Italian citizens under the 1966 Treaty get permanent residency with no minimum stay, no property, and a $5,000 unencumbered solvency deposit. Friendly Nations applicants need an economic tie — employment, property or a fixed deposit. Neither route requires you to live there. Becoming a Panamanian tax resident is a separate matter and does require presence.
Because you cannot see the gross the platform pays, you cannot change manager without losing the payment rail, and in a dispute your income and your account freeze together. It works until it does not, and then you have no position.
A properly structured company keeps your legal name out of public registers, which matters in this industry for reasons that have nothing to do with tax. It is privacy from the public, not from tax authorities — those two are different things and we only do the first.
Company and bank account: weeks. Panamanian residency under the 1966 Treaty: the filing appointment is booked 60 to 90 days ahead, then residency is granted within days of arrival, in a single trip. Tax residence, if you are actually moving, is a matter of a fiscal year, not of weeks.
